Crack that tough nut- SSB
It’s a dream come true for many youths who can crack SSB entrance exam. After finishing plus 2 or 12th standard, it’s a big question to choose path of career life. After doctor and engineering armed force is the most sought career path that most youths chose. NDA which stands for National Defense Academy is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies. Candidates are required to clear NDA to go to the next level. On the basis of result of NDA, all successful candidates will face the SSB interview for Army, Navy and Air Force respectively. SSB which stands for Services Selection Board (SSB) is the Personality and Intelligence Interview spread over 5 days which scientifically analyses each candidate's potential and compatibility for commission into the Armed Forces of India (Army, Navy and Air Force). SSB is set by Minister of Defense. SSB coaching comes as blessing for those students who have a passion to work for their country. No third rate instructors are employed for defense career training. Only highly qualified staff is there who had their full share of service in the Army and are fully aware of the qualities expected in potential officers.
SSB Interview Schedule
Reception:
On the day of arrival (as marked in Call letters) candidates arrive at Movement Control Office (MCO) which is situated at the Railway station of the respective boards. At given time (1 pm to 2 pm) army buses take the candidates to selection centers. Candidates then get rooms; they take a little rest before Document check and allotment of Chest numbers.
These Chest no's works as identity card of candidates; freshers got the initial Chest no's while repeaters follows. After getting chest no's candidates got enough free time to take rest and discussions before Dinner.
Opening Address: Before Allotting Chest no's and Checking documents, an officer address candidates and inform them regarding schedule and rules of SSB interview's.
For the next 5 days, candidates pass through a series of Psychological and Physical tests to Check from various angles and hence assuring a complete assessment.
